Greetings, Boy Scouts!
It’s been almost 35 years since we graduated. I don’t know about you, but I can’t believe it. Our class reunion will be here before we know it. Be sure to mark Alumnae Weekend, April 20–21, 2018, on your calendar.
Our Reunion Committee has been busy planning some wonderful Class of 1983 events. For the latest news, we will keep you up to date on our reunion Facebook group, “Agnes Scott College Class of 1983.” Be sure to send any photos, stories or comments to me or our reunion chair, Emily Sharp Robinson, and we will post them there. Here’s a sneak preview of a few events we have planned so far:
- Friday night. If you have attended one of our past reunions, you remember how much fun it was to reconnect with old friends you haven’t seen in a long time.
Agnes Scott is going to help us make this even better. We will be joining the party Agnes Scott is hosting on campus not just for the official reunion classes, but for members of ALL the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s classes. Get the word out to your friends in these classes to be sure they are there to reminisce and party with us!
- Saturday night. Susan Roberts Helms will be hosting our casual party at her home. Further details and more information will be sent to you in the coming months.
This will be the last reunion for President Kiss, as she is stepping down. Please come to celebrate not just our reunion, but also to celebrate and thank our honorary Boy Scout for all she has done to make Agnes Scott one of the premier colleges to attend.
The Reunion Committee and I look forward to seeing you in April!
