Dear Mickey Fans and the Class of 1974!
We may not have the Electric Light Parade leading us across campus as we attend our 45th Agnes Scott College reunion. We may not want to jump out of our raincoats and streak through the Alumnae Garden. But, I know one thing: I want to see you all. I treasure you more as the years pass, and I don’t get to see you nearly enough. Please take this opportunity to visit with your classmates, see exciting progress at the campus and participate in the daylong Friday festivities celebrating the inauguration of our new president, Leocadia I. Zak.
PUT THESE DATES IN YOUR CALENDAR: Thursday, April 25, to Sunday, April 28, 2019.
Please note that some reunion activities that have normally taken place on Friday (Outstanding Alumnae Award Luncheon and Hub Sing) will be on Thursday due to the inauguration activities on Friday.
Teresa Lee and her reunion committee members have already mapped out a weekend of fun. Friday is filled with fun events for all beginning with campus tours and exhibits, and a SUMMIT Showcase and Back to Class events. The Presidential Inauguration Installation Ceremony will be from 3-5:30 p.m. and will be followed by a Reception on the Quad and a Celebration and Dance Party in the evening. Our class meeting is Saturday morning. Our mixer takes place in an elegant room in the Alston Student Center at 6 p.m. We’ll even have a piano. (I may be on the prowl for a pianist!). Please see the Alumnae Weekend brochure you should receive in the mail for more details.

We’ve laughed and we’ve cried since we last saw each other. Let’s share this brief and precious time together at the scene of our all-night paper-writing sessions, our pranks on the faculty, our tears over a grade, our laughter at Sally Griffeth and me going out with each other’s blind dates—and our unfailing love for each other.
