Agnes Scott College - Alumnae Weekend

Class of 1980

Hello Everyone!

As I write this, our 40th reunion is a mere eight months away! Elisa Norton Cooper and Cindy Dantzler Hammond, our reunion chairs, have been putting a lot of thought and effort into plans for the weekend. And, while most of the details are in place, they continue to brainstorm for ideas to make our time together especially meaningful and memorable. A great big thank-you to them for their time and hard work! A full schedule of events will follow later, but please put these dates on your calendar and start making your plans to attend: April 1719, 2020.

Some of you may not have attended a reunion in quite a while, and others may never have been to one of our reunions. Please know that you have been missed. We truly have become a “band of sisters” over the years. We have shared laughter and tears, and forged bonds that will last for our lifetimes. Through these reunions, I have strengthened friendships with women who were not in my immediate circle while at Agnes Scott, and my life has been enriched by these relationships in so many ways.

So let go of any thoughts that may be holding you back from attending our 40th! You will not regret it. The benefits of girlfriends and girlfriend getaways have been extolled in publications from Southern Living to The Huffington Post. You need this! It will be casual and fun. Simple and easy. Elisa says, “No hair dye needed!” The college has a reunion page on its website that you can visit at reunion-agnesscott.org. And, if you are on Facebook, you can also keep in touch through our page, “AscKeystone-Kops.”

Can’t wait to see you each of you!

I’ve always known that life is better when you share it. I now realize it gets even sweeter when you expand the circle.
