Dear Cheshire Cats,
Can you believe that our 30th class reunion will be here in just a few short months? Cindy Franks and our reunion committee are already hard at work planning a great reunion weekend for us.
SAVE THE DATE: April 25–28, 2019
Please plan to join us—we’d love to see you!
As usual, the reunion schedule is full of activities, starting Thursday afternoon. The weekend will kick off on Thursday with the Outstanding Alumnae Award Luncheon at noon, followed by open houses, campus tours, and exhibits. The Hub Sing will also take place on Thursday; beginning at 8:30 p.m. Friday is fun filled with inauguration activities for the new president, Leocadia Zak. Friday morning will feature campus tours and exhibits, and a SUMMIT Showcase and Back to Class events. The Presidential Inauguration Installation Ceremony President Zak will begin at 3 p.m. This year, instead of the Scottie Shindig for the 70s, 80s, and 90s, the college will throw an Inauguration Reception on the Quad and will have a Celebration and Dance Party in the evening. Saturday will be the class meeting, convocation and luncheon, as well as tours and open houses of several of the recently renovated buildings. The Department Receptions will also take place in the afternoon after the tours. Our class party will be a casual dinner at Allison’s house Saturday night.
I have really enjoyed reconnecting with those of you who regularly attend Alumnae Weekend. My hope is that many of you who haven’t been in a long while will join us next spring. So mark your calendars now!
Our class is known for its enthusiasm, creativity, and generosity to the college. Let’s keep it up!
I’m looking forward to April 2019—make plans to join me!
